Awatarariki Debris Detention Structure
Te Mana o Ngāti Rangitihi Trust has since met with the Mayor and the Chief Executive of the Whakatāne District Council to discuss with other affected stakeholders to discuss the ongoing issue around the Awatarariki Debris Detention Structure. The general consensus amongst those who attended the hui was the need for information to be passed onto the wider Matatā community and iwi members.
For this reason, Te Mana o Ngāti Rangitihi Trust has agreed to provide direct links to the Whakatāne District Council website, where the information is generated and maintained by Council staff.
